Mandarin Jasmine - Mariage Frères Tea

Thousands of fragile jasmine flowers picked at dawn are placed on the tea leaves and buds in successive layers. The dry tea then deeply absorbs the natural scents of the fresh flowers. The gesture is repeated several times to fully flavor the tea. Between each gesture, the tea is put back to dry to receive new flowers just picked.
